BACKGROUND
Since opening its doors in 2019, Graft Häus has established itself as one of the UK’s most respected independent strength facilities. Built around a clear vision for purposeful training, premium equipment, and an uncompromising community culture, the gym quickly became known for delivering an environment where serious training and inclusivity coexist.
Our partnership with Graft Häus has been there from the beginning. As PRIMAL has evolved its product offering, engineering standards, and brand identity over the years, Graft Häus has evolved alongside us. Every investment made into the facility reflects a shared belief that training environments should continually improve to better serve the people using them.
Following an initial expansion in 2021, the gym has now completed its second major renovation in 2025. The result is a fully upgraded facility designed to elevate performance, durability, and member experience at every level.
THE GYM
Founded by Tony in 2019, Graft Häus was created with a clear focus on strength training and community-driven culture. From day one, the gym stood apart through its attention to detail, carefully selected equipment, and commitment to creating an environment that catered to both experienced lifters and everyday members looking to train with intent.
The facility quickly earned a reputation for delivering one of the best strength-focused training spaces in the area. Members were drawn not only to the quality of the equipment, but also to the atmosphere that had been built around it. A space where performance mattered, but where community came first.
In 2021, as the industry emerged from the challenges of the pandemic, Graft Häus reinvested heavily into the facility with the addition of a new mezzanine level. The expansion allowed the gym to grow its offering while reinforcing its long-term commitment to providing a premium training environment for its members. By 2025, the facility was ready for its next evolution.
THE BRIEF
The latest renovation centred around completely revitalising the main gym floor. Tony and the team wanted to modernise the facility while maintaining the identity and training culture that members had come to know over the past six years.
The brief included a full refloor of the gym alongside a complete replacement of the original equipment installed at launch. The goal was not simply to refresh the aesthetic of the space, but to futureproof the facility with equipment that reflected the standards of modern strength training and the continued evolution of the PRIMAL brand.
Most importantly, the upgrade needed to continue delivering the level of performance, durability, and experience that the Graft Häus community expects every day.
THE SOLUTION
Working closely with the team at Graft Häus, PRIMAL delivered a comprehensive facility upgrade that transformed the look, feel, and functionality of the main gym floor.
The renovation introduced an updated equipment layout designed to improve training flow, maximise usable space, and create a more cohesive member experience throughout the facility. Alongside the complete refloor, the original equipment was replaced with the latest generation of PRIMAL strength products, showcasing the progression of the brand’s engineering, build quality, and design language since the gym first opened in 2019.
The result is a facility that feels elevated in every detail while still remaining true to the identity that made Graft Häus successful in the first place. A serious training environment built for longevity.
THE RESULT
The completed renovation represents far more than a cosmetic upgrade. It is a reflection of a gym that has continually invested back into its members and training environment at every stage of its journey.
As PRIMAL has evolved over the last six years, Graft Häus has mirrored that same commitment to progression. Their willingness to continually improve the facility, reinvest into premium equipment, and raise the standard of the member experience embodies the values that define both brands.
