We’ve poured our years of industry expertise into creating a range of proudly British-designed, class-leading strength and fitness equipment, representing the cutting edge in biomechanics and performance.
We offer everything from bespoke commercial and home gym design and fit outs, to custom rigs, customised dumbbells, bench wraps, flooring and platforms.
From first-timers to the fit-for-lifers, from the every day lifters to the everyday athlete, we exist to help any and everybody improve their health and wellbeing, and discover a strength they didn’t know they possessed.
Primal Strength has three core ranges; the Commercial series, the Monster series and our home series. Our Commercial series has been designed to offer the best value for money whilst ensuring that the product has optimum functionality. This range includes our dual function machines which offer a space saving option for many facilities, our smith machine and our rubber hex dumbbells. Within this range we offer a selection of folding racks and storage solutions to suit even the most compact of studios whilst never compromising on quality.
The Monster Series offers the highest level of design and has been extensively tested to ensure its suitability in large high traffic facilities and performance centres. The range offers performance racks and benches, factory welded ISO machines and premium EPDM topped flooring solutions. We also offer an extensive range of specialist bars, weights and dumbbells to cater to every possible end user; from our calibrated steel plates and bumpers to our customisable steel dumbbells, the Monster series is unrivalled in both quality and function.
Our home series was born from the growing demand for high quality, well designed gym equipment for home use.
The brand employs several premium textures for our equipment in order to deliver the highest quality durability and aesthetics for our customers. Specifically, we use brushed aluminium, matte paint finishes, chrome and ionised metal accessories, all finished using stealth black bolts. The upholstery for our premium benches is of the highest quality material and is subtly branded with the Primal logo or we can custom wrap our benches with your logo/brand.

Designed in Glasgow, and overbuilt to withstand the rigours of any gym environment, our equipment is built to the same exacting standards, regardless of whether you’re looking to equip your garage, or create a professional powerlifting gym or functional fitness gym. Our experts are always ready to advise on layout, set up, and accessories that make the most of your space and maximise your budget
When designing our Primal brand, we tried to improve on the very best strength and functional products in the market. Our brand employs premium designs and material to deliver the highest quality equipment in durability, ergonomics and aesthetics for our customers.
Specifically, we use laser-cut steel, brushed aluminium, matte paint finishes, hardened-chrome and ionised-metal accessories, with most lines finished using stealth black bolts. The upholstery for our premium pads is of the highest quality, rip-resistant material and is subtly branded with the Primal Strength logo. Our gym floor matting is made in the UK and uses recycled rubber.

Our office and showroom is based in Uddingston, just outside of Glasgow. We store all Primal products in our warehouse in Glasgow and only show items on our website that are in stock in our warehouse.
